Fireproof Mains Cable
Fireproof Enhanced Mains Cable
British Standard BS7846 compliant cables are fire resistant mains cables, SWA (Steel Wire Armour) armoured to increase resistance to mechanical stress. Featuring LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheaths to reduce smoke and gas emissions under fire conditions, and MGT (Mica Glass Tape) separators to ensure circuit integrity for the rated time period, these cables are typically used in emergency lighting and fire detection and alarm systems that must remain operational under the harshest of conditions.
