Cleveland Cable Company regularly undertakes quality assessments of cable in order to verify cable design and electrical properties to ensure they meet their particular required standards. This includes in-house testing of cables held in our own stock. The BSI Kitemark is only awarded to testing facilities after a long and exhaustive process of cable sampling and verification of documented internal systems. By meeting the stringent assessment process, Cleveland Cable Company has become certified to the highest standard to internally test all cables we receive, giving our customers the peace of mind that the cable that they order is the cable they receive, certified as fit for purpose.

We put our cables through rigorous quality checks from the moment the cable arrives at our branches with visual inspections and samples taken via our sample program. The samples are then inspected and tested within our lab to confirm they meet the scope of the cable standards and our internal quality requirements. Our testing facilities were thoroughly scrutinised by BSI, all cable was checked and tested in the presence of BSI auditors along with samples that were taken away for analysis by the BSI laboratory. All cables submitted to BSI passed the rigorous inspection process and our lab was awarded the prestigious BSI Kitemark.

Cleveland Cable can only guarantee the quality of our products because of our hands on approach at every step. From design to delivery the Cleveland Cable QA team are heavily involved to ensure that the cable requested, is the cable that arrives on site, fully tested with all appropriate certification.
